11th Meeting of the Mississippi River/Gulf of Mexico Watershed Nutrient Task Force in Minnesota

The Mississippi River/Gulf of Mexico Watershed Nutrient Task Force will meet for the 11th time on Sept. 11, in St. Paul, Minnesota. The meeting will include an update on hypoxia in the Northern Gulf of Mexico in 2004, an update on recent activities and progress towards the goals in the Action Plan for Reducing, Mitigating, and Controlling Hypoxia in the Northern Gulf of Mexico, adoption of a plan for the 2005 Reassessment, and a discussion on measuring progress. Meeting of the Water Security Working Group of the National Drinking Water Advisory Council

EPA is holding a meeting of the Water Security Working Group of the National Drinking Water Advisory Council, which will be held on Aug. 31, 2004 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Pacific standard time (PST), Sept. 1, 2004, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., PST and Sept. 2, 2004, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. PST, in the Hotel Monaco Seattle, in Seattle, Washington. Please note that the September 1 portion of the meeting will be closed to the public due to sensitivity-related security concerns expressed by the Working Group members.
