Information on Fish Advisories Now Available

EPA’s Administrator Mike Leavitt announced today the release of the 2003 National Listing of Fish Advisories. For the 12th year, EPA is providing the public with a compendium of information on locally-issued fish advisories, information that states, territories, and tribes give to EPA each year. EPA makes this information available to the public every summer on its web site at http://www.epa.gov/waterscience/fish/.

Acting Assistant Administrator Attends Several Events

Benjamin Grumbles, Acting Assistant Administrator for Water, will give the welcoming address at the Eleventh Meeting of the Mississippi River/Gulf of Mexico Watershed Nutrient Task Force next week in Minneapolis, MN.

Grumbles, met with the American Fisheries Society Members and Wisconsin State officials over the weekend in Madison, WI.

Recently, he attended the Partnerships for Water Infrastructure meeting held on Aug. 19 in Austin, TX. He also spoke at the Environmental Financial Advisory Board meeting held on Aug. 18 in San Francisco, CA.
