As with any new initiative, EPA realizes the importance of outreach and education to affected stakeholders. It is important for stakeholders to understand the reasons for the initiative, the ways the initiative will be implemented and the implications of the initiative on their interests.
We will build customer/stakeholder/public partnerships, advocacy and support through:
- Public and Stakeholder Outreach
- Tribal Liaisons - build Tribal participation Network Communications/Tracking Issues (newsletters, listserver)
- Educational/outreach information & technical training programs
- Seminars, technical training, Water Quality Standards Academy sessions, Regional/State meetings
