A block of rooms has been reserved at the Nassau Inn in Princeton, New Jersey, from October 20-22, 2009. Please note that the Nassau Inn will only provide the prevailing GSA rate* (currently $139/single or double occupancy plus 15% tax) to federal and state government employees that have adequate justification. They are very strict about enforcing this policy. In order for a government employee to receive the prevailing GSA rate* at the Nassau Inn, he or she must both:
- Show government identification at the time of check-in; and
-
Pay with a government issued payment method. As per discussion with the hotel's manager, the approved payment methods are
- Government-issued credit card
- Government-issued check made out to the hotel in the full amount of the stay, to be provided to the hotel by the time of check-in
- Personal credit card will be accepted only if the meeting attendee also provides a copy of his or her approved travel request at the time of check-in
The hotel will provide a group rate of $159/single or double occupancy plus 15% tax for all other meeting attendees.
When making room reservations please reference the Group Name: "EPA FSTRAC Group" in order to receive the prevailing GSA rate* or meeting group rate. The cutoff date for the reserved block of rooms is September 28, 2009. Please make your arrangements as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to reserve a room at this hotel or receive the prevailing GSA rate* or meeting group rate after September 28, 2009.
*Please note that the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) lodging rate is updated each year on October 1st. The hotel reserves the right to change the room rate for your stay during the meeting to correspond to the prevailing maximum GSA lodging rate.
