Take the Guest Work Out of Saving Water!
EPA launched the WaterSense H2Otel Challenge in February 2014, to encourage hotels to "ACT":
- Assess water use and savings opportunities
- Change products or processes to incorporate best management practices
- Track their water–saving progress and achievements
WaterSense is teaming up with its partners to provide hotels with tools so they can ACT now to start saving water.
Join these hotels (9 pg, 226K, About PDF) that have already signed up to start saving water! Travelers are increasingly placing importance on sustainability and eco-friendly accommodations. H2Otel Challenge participation can help demonstrate your commitment to saving water. Reducing your hotel's water use can save water, energy, and operating costs, helping your hotel's bottom line. In addition, water use reductions can help mitigate risk imposed by rising water and sewer costs and increasing prevalence of drought.
Interested hotels can sign up for the H2Otel Challenge to start receiving free recognition, outreach, and technical tools that will help them save water, energy, and money.
WaterSense is holding a series of live training webinars in 2015 to help hotels get a handle on their water use and put best management practices to work for their bottom line. The second webinar, "A for Assess: Setting Goals and Developing a Water Management Plan," will be held on Thursday, August 27, starting at 2:00 p.m. Eastern.
For an introduction to the H2Otel Challenge, please view a past recording of our 2015 welcome webinar, "Take the Plunge! Introducing the WaterSense H2Otel Challenge."
