Reporting on EMAP-West Progress

EMAP-West, the Environmental Monitoring and Assessment Program for Western States, has published the first in a series of brief communications designed to keep environmental managers in state, tribal, and federal agencies up to date on program activities. The inaugural issue describes the EMAP Surface Waters component, giving background on the issues to be resolved by utilizing the EMAP approach to monitoring in 12 Western states.
