Mold Information From NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene:

Asbestos sampling results are available in 5 files within the .zip file below. The WTC Dust Cleanup program area was divided into 4 quadrants - A, B, C, and D. Asbestos sampling results for residential apartments are available for each quadrant. Asbestos sampling results for building common areas, such as hallways and stairways, are also available. Location information for each result includes quadrant, zip code, and census tract. A unique Building index number and apartment index number are used for each result. Certain location information, such as building and apartment address, and individual requester information, such as requester name and telephone number, are deemed confidential information and are not available. These indexes can help relate the individual sample results within each apartment, and all sampling results within a building.

Two steps to view the data in spreadsheet format:

Detach the file and save
- right click on the link below and save the target on your computer.
Unzip and open the file
- double click on the file and allow your computer's zip program to unzip the file
- open the file from your spread sheet program (i.e. Excel)
- a prompt will ask you what type of data the file contains, choose delimited and click next
- it will then ask you to select a delimiter, choose other and type a "pipe" (shift and key under the "Backspace" key) and click finish. (pipe = |
