People from across the country will be celebrating Year of Science 2009 with events, science cafes and even science festivals. Visit the COPUS YOS09 Web site to search for science events in your local community or submit your organization's planned activity. Another way to celebrate Year of Science is by taking small individual steps to recognize science and its role in our society. If you have an idea for how individuals can celebrate the Year of Science, share it here. You may find inspiration in the responses to an EPA Question of the Week: "What are your New Year’s resolutions to help protect the environment in 2009?"
