Corry Schiermeyer

Corry SchiermeyerCorry Schiermeyer is EPA's Associate Administrator for Public Affairs. Corry comes to EPA with nearly two decades of public affairs experience. Most recently she served as the press secretary and acting Director of Media Relations at U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Corry’s experience includes communications work at the Department of Agriculture, Department of Energy, and as the Director of Global Communications for the National Security Council at the White House. Corry has also served as the spokesperson and senior advisor for two members of Congress. For six years, she provided public relations consulting services to a variety of clients, including Meals on Wheels and BNSF Railway.

Prior to her experience in public affairs, Corry spent time as a sports reporter in her native state of Texas.
