Alex Barron, Deputy Associate Administrator for the Office of Policy
Alex Barron serves as Deputy Associate Administrator for the Office of Policy. Prior to his current role, Alex served as a Senior Advisor in OP, working on a broad range of policy issues. Prior to his appointments in the Office of Policy, Alex worked in Congress for several years — first as a fellow for Senator Joseph Lieberman (I-CT) and then as professional staff for the House Committee on Energy and Commerce — focusing on energy and climate policy. Before coming to Washington D.C., Alex was a visiting lecturer in Biology and Chemistry at Carleton College in Minnesota. Alex received a Doctorate in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University and graduated from Carleton College with a degree in Chemistry.
