TODAY: EPA Administrator to Give Keynote Address at Columbia Universitys Global Energy Summit in NYC
WASHINGTON - Today, EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy will give keynote remarks at Columbia University's Global Energy Summit in New York City. Administrator McCarthy will speak about the agency's actions to protect public health while encouraging economic growth and laying the foundation for a low-carbon future. A world-leading economy depends on a healthy environment and a safe climate, which is why EPA is working to implement President Obama's Climate Action Plan to build more resilient communities and curb the carbon pollution fueling climate change.
