Brownfield Grant Recipient Success Stories

Brownfield Success Stories are a select group of project examples which highlight the accomplishments of EPA Brownfield grant recipients across the country. These accomplishments include transforming brownfield sites to positively impact local economies and the quality of life for neighboring communities. Please note that the examples in the map are a sampling of brownfield success stories. This list is not intended to be a full inventory of all brownfield projects.

Click a pin on the map to find out the project's description, year of completion and type of reuse. Click the "More info" link in the pop-up window to view the success story, which provides a more detailed summary of the project. Viewers can also filter the type of reuse by selecting the check boxes to the left of the map.

EPA Brownfield Grant funds are not used for redevelopment of sites assessed or cleaned up with Brownfields funds, and projections for future reuse and redevelopment of sites and anticipated benefits are subject to change based on local conditions.
