Draft Regional General Permit (RGP) for Wildfire Prevention, Protection, Response, Clean-up, and Recovery
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) is requesting a water quality certification from the EPA for discharges associated with authorized activities under a Regional General Permit (RGP) for Wildfire Prevention, Protection, Response, Clean-up, and Recovery. The proposed RGP would provide prospective applicants with a permitting mechanism for discharges of dredged and fill material into waters of the U.S., including wetlands, and/or structures or work in, or affecting navigable waters of the United States, for the purpose of wildfire protection, prevention, response, clean-up, and restoration recovery in the State of California.
