EPA is proposing a streamlined, efficient, federal permitting program for the disposal of coal combustion residuals (CCR) in surface impoundments and landfills. In addition to accepting written comments, EPA held a virtual or online public hearing. The virtual public hearing provided interested persons the opportunity to present information, comments or views concerning EPA's proposal.
