The Draft Ports Primer for Communities Glossary is located in the Terminology Services area of the EPA website.  This glossary was developed specifically for web users who are accessing the Draft Ports Primer for Communities webpages and was developed courtesy of the American Association of Port Authorities, National Cooperative Freight Research Program, Starcrest Consulting Group and the U.S. Department of Transportation. 

There are two ways to access the definitions of terms and acronyms as noted below.

  1. Navigate to the glossary by clicking this link:  Draft Ports Primer for Communities Glossary, or

  2. Terms within the Ports Primer webpage content that are defined in the glossary have a dotted line underneath them.  When the cursor hovers over these terms the definition will pop-up in a window next to the term.  When the cursor is moved away from the dotted line the pop-up window will close.
