STAR Dynamic Air Quality Management Progress Review Webinar
Date and Time
3:00 pm - 6:00 pm EDT
Join us for a Science to Achieve Results (STAR) progress review meeting on research projects from the Request for Applications (RFA) Dynamic Air Quality Management. Registration is free and open to the public - so share this discussion opportunity with your peers!
STAR grantees will present research findings and results from their projects to develop more agile, adaptive air quality management (AQM) systems that can be used to improve understanding of the conditions that influence air pollution. This research is improving the rate at which new information is incorporated into the AQM process, making it more dynamic, as well as advancing strategies for management of air pollution episodes. Each 20-minute presentation will be followed by a brief question and answer session.
These EPA-funded grants and research support the goals of the Air, Climate and Energy (ACE) National Research Program, which aims to strengthen scientific understanding of the complex global change and air quality issues facing the planet today. The ACE research program provides the critical science supporting policy-based solutions that protect the quality of the air we breathe, and develops new tools to help citizens, communities and regulators combat air pollution.
