DISTRIBUTION:

WHATIF software is available for download from the CEAM Web site at the
following Uniform Resource Locator (URL):

  http://www.epa.gov/ceampubl/fchain/whatif/index.htm

CEAM downloads include the latest WHATIF software release, documentation,
updates and patches.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

INSTALLATION:

The WHATIF installers for version 2.0 and 3.1 are self-extracting zip files
containing SetUp programs that install the model to you system. The installation
process is to download the installer, run the self-extracting zip file and then
run the SetUp program.

To install WHATIF:

1) Download the desired WHATIF installer from CEAM.
Note that you should save this file to a local disk drive; not a
   network or shared drive.

2) Navigate to the folder where the installer file is stored.
Double-click the file and choose a directory where the self-extracting
Zip program can copy the installer application. By default, installer
files are written to the current directory in a sub-directory named
   "whatif_installer".

3) Navigate to the directory where the files were written (e.g.;
   "whatif_installer") and double-click on Setup.exe. Follow
the on-screen instructions. Note that your user account must have
administrative privileges for the Setup program to operate
   correctly.

4) For WHATIF program operation, read the accompanying documentation
   "WHATIF Overview.pdf", and/or "WatershedHealthAssessment.pdf".
Further documentation is provided in the "support\tooldoc\"
   sub-directory of the installed application.
