Public Hearing on Proposed NSPS for Greenhouse Gas Emissions from New, Modified, and Reconstructed EGUs

EPA is holding a public hearing on the proposal to revise the New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) for greenhouse gas emissions from new, modified, and reconstructed fossil fuel-fired power plants.  The hearing will be Thursday, February 14, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. –  6:00 p.m. (local time) in: 

  • Washington, District of Columbia – EPA WJC East Building, 1201 Constitution Avenue

Each commenter will have five minutes to provide oral testimony. Written statements and supporting information submitted during the comment period will be considered with the same weight as oral comments and supporting information presented at the public hearing. 

The public comment period on the proposal will be open through March 18, 2019.
