San Francisco Listening Session: Public Transportation, Parking and Additional Information
An EPA listening session for repealing the CPP will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at the San Francisco Main Public Library in the Koret Auditorium, 30 Grove Street, San Francisco, CA 94102 from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM PST.
Public transportation and parking:
The San Francisco Main Library is located within two blocks of public transportation, including the BART and MUNI. While public transportation is highly suggested, recommended public parking lots include the Civic Center Garage, 355 McAllister St. and Performing Arts Garage, 360 Grove St.
Since this event will begin prior to when the library is regularly open, the entrance for this event is on Grove Street, not Larkin Street as listed on the library website or maps. The in-person registration will be located immediately outside the Koret Auditorium in the basement level of the library.
EPA will offer Spanish interpretation at this listening session.
Pre-registered speakers: On the day of the event, upon checking in at the registration desk, you will be assigned a more specific window of time. This more accurate time will be assigned in-person, first-come first-serve. Speakers should allow ample time to sign-in prior to the start of each session.
Non-registered speakers: If you would like to provide oral comments and did not pre-register online, or via email or phone, the EPA will do its best to accommodate you. You should check in at the registration desk in person on the day of the event and expect a longer wait time.
Canceling registration: If you registered but are no longer able to attend, please email R9CPP@epa.gov to remove your name as the room capacity is greatly limited and the EPA would like to ensure the largest number of people may attend.
Online Live Streaming: The San Francisco listening session will be streamed live, online. You can view and listen from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM PST on February 28, 2018. Access the live video the day of the event. Please note that you will not be able to provide oral comments via the online live stream; oral comments will only be received at the event. EPA is accepting written comment on the proposed repeal until April 26, 2018.
