Summary

Clean Air Act grant funding is available in fiscal year 2018 for federally recognized tribes and tribal consortia within Region 10. In previous years, approximately $2.25 million has been available for individual awards that typically range from $25,000 to $250,000.

  • Proposals for new tribal air programs were due March 16, 2018.
  • Applications from current grantees were due April 2, 2018.

Sections 103 and 105 of the Clean Air Act allow EPA to provide grant support to tribes to help build tribal knowledge and increase tribes' capacity to manage air quality issues.
