Summary

Catamount Energy Partners, LLC has applied for a UIC permit for disposal of Class II wastes associated with oil and gas production within the San Juan Basin, Colorado. 

The EPA proposes issuance of a Draft Class II Permit to authorize the construction of a Class II waste disposal well (CEP #1 SWD as EPA Permit number CO22400-11785) within the exterior boundary of the Southern Ute Indian Reservation in La Plata County, Colorado. This action is being performed under the authority of the Safe drinking Water Act and UIC program regulations.
