East Waterway Proposed Plan Comment Form
Submit Your Comments on EPA’s East Waterway Proposed Plan from April 28 to June 27, 2023
Summary
EPA is seeking public comments on the proposed cleanup plan (Proposed Plan) for the East Waterway Operable Unit, which is part of the Harbor Island Superfund site in Seattle, Washington.
We value your engagement and input, and we believe the best cleanup plans are developed and implemented with the support of a well-informed community.
EPA will consider public comments when selecting cleanup actions for the East Waterway. We may modify the preferred cleanup alternative or select another alternative based on new information or public comments and then issue the interim cleanup plan (also known as the Interim Record of Decision, or Interim ROD).
You are encouraged to review and comment on all the alternatives in the Proposed Plan:
The Interim ROD will include a responsiveness summary that will summarize and respond to public comments on the Proposed Plan.
