Project Description

The Expansion of the South Wastewater Treatment Plant project will increase wastewater treatment capacity to enable treated effluent to be used to irrigate cropland in the region. This project will include constructing a 10-mile sewer force main, new lift stations, new anaerobic and aerobic digesters, and a new facultative storage pond. By implementing these innovative water usage solutions, Dodge City will meet shared economic and environmental goals with local businesses.
