Notes for Windows Vista Users
The current EPI v3.20 installation program is not compatible with Windows Vista. However, EPI v3.20 can be installed on Vista computers by running the installation program three or four times in succession.
Alternatively, users can install EPI v3.20 on a Windows XP (98, ME, or 95) computer, then zip (or copy) the entire EPI Suite folder, then unzip (or copy) the entire folder to the Vista machine. The programs will run correctly on Vista.
Another problem with Vista is displaying any help files with the ".hlp" file extension, such as in EPI v3.20. Microsoft now has a download for Windows Vista users that allows ".hlp" help files to be shown correctly This download can be found at Microsoft's download center by entering the search terms Winhlp32.exe and Vista.
