In the past, the PIRT has covered the following topics urban FIFRA issues; advanced inspector skills; agricultural use; structural training; fumigation and product related trainings. There is also a Tribal PIRT that is offered to federally-recognized tribes every other year, which is coordinated by a small tribal planning committee that changes with each Tribal PIRT.

Pesticide Regulatory Education Program

EPA’s Pesticide Regulatory Education Program creates and promotes professional development opportunities for senior manager/supervisor and technical pesticide regulatory officials throughout the United States and its affiliated territories. Individuals are eligible to attend if they work for an agency that has a cooperative agreement with the EPA.
