(Kansas City, Kan., Nov. 17, 2006) – EPA Region 7 Administrator John B. Askew will recognize the region’s 19th National Performance Track Program member, Alliant Techsystems Inc., during a ceremony Nov. 20 at the Lake City Ammunition Plant in Independence, Mo. Alliant is the first government-owned, contractor-operated facility in the Region 7 program.
