Cleanup Completion at Ice House Drums Site, Mineral Wells, Texas

     The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) completed removal cleanup work at the former Ice House Drums site at 209 S.W. 7th Street, Mineral Wells, Palo Pinto County, Texas. The abandoned site has been vacant since 1980.  EPA removed and disposed about 70 unlabeled 55-gallon drums containing hazardous chemicals, drums and debris found on the floor of the building and approximately 1000 cubic yards of contaminated soils.
