THURSDAY: EPA, NMED, and City of Santa Fe to Celebrate New Toolkit to Manage Stormwater Pollution
DALLAS – (Jan. 3, 2017) On Thursday, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), New Mexico Environmental Department and the city of Santa Fe will acknowledge $150,000 in federal assistance to develop a localized, technical assistance toolkit for managing the environmental effects of stormwater. The toolkit is part of a national pilot program to help communities plan long-term and actionable strategies for managing stormwater pollution. Santa Fe is one of only five cities nationwide to be chosen for this assistance.
The event will take place on Thursday, Jan. 5, from 10-11 a.m., at the Santa Fe Convention Center, 201 W. Marcy St. Santa Fe, N.M. 87501.
