TODAY: EPA Administrator to Address the Allergy and Asthma Network 30th Anniversary Awards Ceremony
WASHINGTON - Today, EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy will give remarks at the Allergy and Asthma Network's 30th Anniversary Awards Ceremony in Washington, D.C. Administrator McCarthy will speak about how climate change can impact respiratory illnesses, including asthma, harder to manage and discuss important agency actions to reduce the impacts from climate change to protect public health. In addition, she will honor EPA's 2015 National Environmental Leadership Award winners, the Green and Healthy Homes Initiative of Baltimore, Md., and Le Bonheur Children's Hospital of Memphis, Tenn., for serving as national models for asthma care.
