TOMORROW: EPA, BIA and Choctaw Nation Recognize Safer Water at Jones Academy
DALLAS – (Nov. 28, 2016) Tomorrow, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Choctaw Nation and the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) will recognize Jones Academy for successfully addressing water quality challenges and completing a project to provide safer drinking water for students. This project supports EPA’s five-year plan for achieving environmental justice (EJ) goals, EJ 2020. The event will take place on Tuesday, November, 29, from 1-2 p.m., Jones Academy, 909 Jones Academy Road, Hartshorne, Okla., 74547.
