U.S. EPA to Announce Funding to Create Parks and Community Gardens
DALLAS – On Wednesday, May 31, U.S. EPA Acting Regional Administrator Sam Coleman will announce funding to assess and clean up contaminated properties in Austin, Texas. EPA will be joined by Steve Adler, mayor of Austin, as well as other state and local officials to highlight the importance of transforming vacant and unused properties into productive sites benefiting the community and local economy.
