Federal Facilities Academy

EPA would like to invite interested individuals, particularly Project Managers, to participate in the EPA Federal Facilities Academy. The Federal Facilities Academy is a series of webinars and one in-person course. The main objective of the Academy is to improve the skill set necessary for project managers to effectively manage federal facilities and strengthen relationships across agencies. The training program will help ensure that a nationally consistent message is delivered as part of the Superfund Federal Facility Program. The intended participants for the program are EPA federal facility Remedial Project Managers and project managers from other federal agencies, State government, and Tribal groups. Participation is voluntary and highly recommended. The Federal Facilities Academy includes 11 webinars and one in-person training for 12 total courses. Please note that while the webinars are open to the public, the in-person course is not open to contractors. Webinars will be archived for future viewing as well. Upon completion of all courses, participants will receive a program certificate of completion to recognize the additional effort on understanding federal facility cleanups.

The next round of live offerings of the webinars are scheduled to begin in September 2021 through September 2022. Registration and more details are available at www.trainex.org.

For any questions, please contact Emy Laija at laija.emerald@epa.gov or 202-564-2724.
