P3’s National Student Design Expo Experience
This year's expo is being held at the Tech Connect World Innovation Conference and Expo on June 20, 2023.
The P3 Expo Experience
Each year our P3 student teams exhibit their research showcasing, discussing and demonstrating their projects funded under their EPA P3 grant funding. Teams can connect with experts in government agencies, non-profit organizations and businesses to showcase their achievements. In connecting with these experts, student teams have the opportunity to expand their research projects with increased funding or commercialization plus gain event benefits including public education and participation, research review, and scientific networking opportunities.
Our previous P3 student teams have traveled across the country to attend the student design expo. Historically, teams have exhibited at the National Mall in Washington D.C., at the USA Science and Engineering Festival in Boston, Massachusetts, in Oronoco Bay Park in Alexandria, Virginia and most recently in partnership with Tech Connect at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in Oxon Hill, Maryland.

P3 supports the education and preparation of the next generation to continue building our nation’s capacity to create and innovate. In attending the Expo, many teams have the potential to access new jobs and build small businesses and non-profits.
Every year, we are amazed and inspired by every student who comes to showcase their exciting and innovative projects at the P3 expo. We are excited to see new and creative ideas as our program moves forward!
