Homeland Security Research Program Analytical Methods and Protocols

To protect the environment and human health from the impacts of a chemical, biological or radiological contamination incident, EPA’s Homeland Security Research Program (HSRP) has been identifying and developing effective and accurate analytical methods.

Data Management

Following a chemical, biological or radiological contamination incident, a substantial amount of data will be collected during all phases of the response. These data will need to be checked for quality and maintained to advise decision-making.
