The Community Action for a Renewed Environment (CARE) Roadmap - 10-Step Plan to Improve Community Environment and Health

This roadmap, developed for EPA's former Community Action for a Renewed Environment (CARE) program, will provide you and your community with a process to:

learn about local environmental and environmental health risks and impacts,
build the community consensus necessary to take effective action,
mobilize a community partnership to take action to reduce impacts and risks, and
build long-term capacity within your community to understand and reduce environmental impacts and risks.
