Technical Corrections to EPA's Final Rule for Oil and Natural Gas Operations

June 11, 2024 - EPA is issuing an interim final rule to make technical corrections to its final rule to reduce methane and other harmful pollution from oil and natural operations. The technical corrections in the interim final rule are minor, do not substantively alter the regulatory text of the final rule that was published in March 2024, and will neither change the emissions reductions that the final rule will yield nor alter any other aspect of the final rule.
