ESAM Collaborative Analytical Methods and Protocols for Pathogens

EPA's Homeland Security Research Program (HSRP) has worked with partnering laboratories and agencies to develop several of the analytical methods and protocols addressing target chemical, radiochemical, pathogen and biotoxin contaminants of concern in environmental samples, as well as radiochemical contamination of outdoor building and infrastructure materials.

The methods developed by HSRP are a subset of the methods included in EPA's SAM 2022 and can also be accessed here.
