This Laboratory Quality Assurance Manual documents the Quality Assurance Programme and activities in Ghana Water Company Limited. This manual was one of the outcomes from the West Africa Drinking Water Laboratory Capacity Program to build capacity of drinking water quality laboratories in Accra.
The Water Quality Assurance Department of Ghana Water Company Limited is committed to its role in providing clean and safe potable water to the urban communities in Ghana and defining acceptable laboratory practices in the quality documentation to ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements. The quality manual documents the policies and references the procedures used in the laboratory to ensure test data are scientifically acceptable according to the methods performed in the lab.
