About the OAQPS Quality Program
The OAQPS Quality Program is located in the Central Operations and Resources (CORE) office and ensures that its Divisions follow and uphold EPA’s quality policy and standards.
The primary goal of the OAQPS Quality Program is to ensure that all environmental information collected and/or used in the process of decision-making are of known and documented quality, appropriate for their intended use, and scientifically valid, and legally defensible. The OAQPS Quality Management Plan (QMP) documents how OAQPS plans to achieve this.
