Summary

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Mid-Atlantic Region (EPA), has issued a final permit to Sandstone Development LLC of Cyclone, Pennsylvania. This permit authorizes the construction and operation of one (1) Class II-R enhanced recovery injection well, McKay 7A, located in Lafayette Township, McKean County, Pennsylvania. Federal UIC Program Permit Appeal Procedures are specified at 40 C.F.R. § 124.19. For your convenience, the Region has attached a summary of the Appeal Procedures in this Public Notice.  The period for filing a petition for review of this permit begins on the day after EPA served notice of the issuance of the permit by email, which was September 24, 2025.
