Audit of the EPA's Fiscal Years 2022 and 2021 Toxic Substances Control Act Service Fee Fund Financial Statements

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Office of Inspector General plans to begin our required audit of the EPA's fiscal years 2022 and 2021 financial statements for the Frank R. Lautenberg Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act, which amended the Toxic Substances Control Act, or TSCA, Service Fee Fund. This audit is part of the OIG'soversight planfor fiscal year 2024 and is statutory required by TSCA, as amended. This audit also addresses the following fiscal year 2024top management challenge for the Agency: managing grants, contracts, and data systems.
