Notification: Audit of the EPA’s Contract Universe

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Office of Inspector General plans to begin an audit that will
review and provide information on the EPA’s contract universe. This audit was initiated internally to
help obtain an overview of the contract landscape at the Agency.

The EPA's Office of Inspector General is a part of the EPA, although Congress provides our funding separate from the agency, to ensure our independence. We were created pursuant to the Inspector General Act of 1978, as amended.
