EPA and Other Environmental Agencies

EPA does not handle all environmental concerns, as some issues are under the jurisdiction of other federal, Tribal, state, or local agencies. Many environmental programs have been delegated to state agencies which have primary responsibility to implement and enforce them. Often, the relevant state or local agency is the most appropriate contact.
