Evaluation of Trends in Resource Conservation and Recovery Act State-Level Enforcement Data

May 01, 2025The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Office of Inspector General plans to begin an evaluation of Resource Conservation and Recovery Act enforcement trends. Our objective is to identify state-level trends in Resource Conservation and Recovery Act enforcement data for large quantity generators from 2020 through 2024.1 We will conduct the evaluation using Quality Standards for Inspection and Evaluation, issued by the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency.
