Notification: Audit of the EPA’s Fiscal Year 2025 Compliance with the Payment Integrity Information Act of 2019

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Office of Inspector General plans to begin an audit of the
EPA’s fiscal year 2025 compliance with the Payment Integrity Information Act of 2019. This audit is
performed annually as required by Office of Management and Budget Circular A-123, Appendix C and
the Payment Integrity Information Act of 2019.

The EPA's Office of Inspector General is a part of the EPA, although Congress provides our funding separate from the agency, to ensure our independence. We were created pursuant to the Inspector General Act of 1978, as amended.
