The OIG’s continued productivity and oversight accomplishments are evidenced in this Semiannual Report to Congress. During this reporting period, the OIG addressed the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the EPA’s operations, established top management challenges for the EPA and the CSB, reorganized several of our internal offices, and examined the EPA’s Scientific Integrity Policy. We remained focused on our critical mission to fight waste, fraud, and abuse related to the programs and operations of the EPA and the CSB, as well as to promote economy, efficiency, and effectiveness in those programs and operations.
