Summary

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”), Region 3, is hereby giving notice that it proposes to enter into an Expedited Settlement Agreement (“ESA”), which commences and concludes an administrative action against Old Forge Power Equipment, 5 Brookside Road, Carbondale, Pennsylvania 18407, in order to settle alleged violations of the Clean Water Act at the site located at: 5 Brookside Road, Carbondale, Pennsylvania 18407.

The ESA assesses an administrative penalty in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00), pursuant to Section 309(g) of the Clean Water Act, 33 U.S.C. § 1319(g) for alleged violations of the Clean Water Act. The $5,000.00 penalty is calculated in accordance with the Expedited Settlement Agreement Pilot for Industrial Stormwater Non-Filers under the Clean Water Act dated September 30, 2019.
