Experiencing WebCMS Issues?

We take performance issues seriously.

There are many possible reasons why this web site might be slow, and they're usually not the application itself. We rely upon many third-party services for hosting the application, and sometimes EPA's site is affected if there are issues with one of these third-party services. For example, EPA may get an overwhelming amount of traffic, which uses resources that might otherwise go to you. It's also possible EPA's network is experiencing a slowdown or that our single sign-on vendor is offline (preventing you from logging in).

If you are experiencing performance issues while navigating and using the WebCMS, try these steps first.

  1. Check your email. If there is a known issue causing a widespread degradation, we will send out a notification email.
  2. Check if Amazon Web Services are reporting any outages. The WebCMS is hosted at Amazon.
  3. Log off the VPN before accessing the WebCMS. You will still be able to sign in.
  4. Clear your browser cache.
  5. Try a different browser. EPA supports both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge; the WebCMS works in all browsers.
  6. Lock your computer and log back onto it.
  7. Restart your computer.

These steps may solve your issue. If they do not, please contact WebCMS Support.
