Public Hearing on EPA's Proposed Supplemental Federal “Good Neighbor Plan” Requirements for the 2015 8-hour Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards

EPA will hold a virtual public hearing on March 4, 2024 to provide the public the opportunity to present comments and information on the Agency’s proposed Supplemental “Good Neighbor Plan” Action. EPA proposed action on SIP submittals and to extend the Good Neighbor Plan to five states to ensure they do not significantly contribute to problems attaining and maintaining the 2015 Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) in downwind states. This action would help Arizona, Iowa, Kansas, New Mexico, and Tennessee fully resolve their Clean Air Act “good neighbor” obligations for the 2015 Ozone NAAQS.

The hearing will be held on:

  • March 4, 2024
  • 9:00 am – 6:00 pm Eastern Time
