Arkansas Read Me: Error in 40 CFR 52.170, Identification of plan, in the July 1, 2001 to July 1, 2005, editions of 40 CFR Part 52

Regulatory Text:
Error in 40 CFR 52.170, [Arkansas] Identification of plan, in the July 1, 2001 to July 1, 2005, editions of 40 CFR Part 52.

The regulations “Prevention of Significant Deterioration Supplement to the Arkansas Plan of Implementation for Air Pollution Control” and “Regulations for the Control of Volatile Organic Compounds” are listed in the July 1, 2001, July 1, 2002, July 1, 2003, July 1, 2004, and July 1, 2005 CFRs in 40 CFR 52.170 as being SIP-approved regulations in the Arkansas SIP.  These regulations were also listed in the on-line e-CFRs during this time period.  The two regulations were removed from the Arkansas SIP October 16, 2000 (64 FR 61103) and replaced by Regulation 19, Chapters 9 and 10, and should not have appeared in the CFR after the November 15, 2000, effective date.  The amendatory language in the October 9, 2001 (66 FR 51312) Federal Register contained language removing the rules from the CFR but they continued to be listed in the CFR.  A Federal Register published March 16, 2006 (71 FR 13543) removed these regulations from the CFR.  This error is corrected in the July 1, 2006 edition of the CFR.
